Managerial Accounting:
This core course targets at the root level understanding of Accounting, Financial Statements, Cost Accounting, Marginal Costing, Budgetary Control, and Standard Costing. Find out the Meaning, Principles, Advantages, and Limitations of Short Term Business Decision Techniques. Learn & practice the actual application of accounts by solving the numerical Problems on Final Accounts of Sole Proprietary Firm, Preparation of Cost Sheet, Marginal Costing, and Short-Term Business Decisions, Raw Material Purchase & Procurement Budget, Cash Budget, Flexible Budget, Material Variances, and Labour Variances.
Organizational Behaviour:
This core course targets the key concepts of behavioral dynamics at the workplace, especially at the individual & team level. The course aims to provide a basic level of understanding of how managers should behave in order to motivate and control employees. Articulate aspects of organizational culture and interpret cultural diversity. Build people and leadership skills essential for managerial success. Analyze the causes of conflict and outline conflict management strategies that managers can use to resolve organizational conflict effectively. Also, evaluate the significance of interpersonal relationships for organizational effectiveness. Applying the techniques of conflict management and subsequently the stress management.
Economic Analysis for Business Decisions:
This core course targets the most important factor of business management about understanding the reasons for the existence of firms and their decision making goals. Applying the concepts of Demand, Supply, Demand Forecasting, Supply & Market Equilibrium, and their determinants. Analyze the cost function and the difference between short-run and long-run cost function & establish the relationship between production function and cost function. Study the effect of non-price factors on products and services of monopolistic and oligopoly firms. Design competition strategies, including costing, pricing, product differentiation, and market environment according to the natures of products, the market structures, and Business Cycles.
Basics of Marketing:
This core course targets terms & concepts in marketing and the various company orientation towards the market place. Provides an understanding of the various components of the marketing environment of a firm and explains the same. Applying the principles of segmentation, targeting, and positioning to real-world marketing offering to commodities, goods, services, e-products/e-services. Analyzing the journey of consumer behavior into various components and differentiate between various buying roles for a real-world marketing offering like the above-mentioned services. To develop and describe the marketing mix for real-world marketing offerings. Elaborate on the various types of Product Life Cycles and relate them with the marketing mix in the context of real-world marketing offerings (commodities, goods, services, e-products/ e-services.).

This core course explains the differences between business analytics and related fields (e.g., business analysis, business intelligence, data science), as well as the ethical considerations and quality of data in business analytics and key applications of business analytics. Utilize basic tools of business analytics, such as data exploration and visualization tools, to perform basic exploratory data analysis and data cleaning tasks. It Assess the effectiveness of different data-driven strategies and analytical techniques in improving business performance across different sectors through case studies.
Decision Science:
TThis core course targets at root level understanding of the importance of the Decision Science & role of quantitative techniques in decision making. Know the concepts and models associated with Decision Science. Understand the different decision-making tools required to achieve optimization in business processes. Apply appropriate decision-making approaches and tools to be used in a business environment. Learn to assess various facets of business problems and develop problem-solving ability. Apply decision tools in the present business scenario.
Management Fundamentals:
This Core course targets various managerial competencies and approaches to management. Understand the role and need of Planning, Organizing, Decision Making and Controlling. Learn to make use of principles of goal setting and planning for simple as well as complex tasks and small projects. Compare and analyse the various organizational structures of variety of business and not-for-profit entities in a real world context. Build a list of the decision making criteria used by practicing managers, leaders and entrepreneurs in routine and non-routine decision making situations and analyse the same. FORMULATE and DISCUSS a basic controlling model in a real life business, start-up and not-for-profit organizational context.
Indian Knowledge Systems:
This Core course recalls the key teachings and themes from the Bhagavad Gita, and identify significant events and principles from the life of Shivaji Maharaj. The role of values, ethics, and spirituality in leadership and organizational culture as taught in the Bhagavad Gita, and summarize Shivaji Maharaj's leadership qualities.It evaluates the effectiveness of Jugaad innovations in various sectors and assess the impact of family and community roles in Indian business practices.

This core course targets the basic concepts related to Financial Management, Various techniques of Financial Statement Analysis, Working Capital, Capital Structure, Leverages, and Capital Budgeting. Analyzing multiple factors to evaluate the financial position of the firm, estimate working capital required, decide the ideal capital structure, and evaluate various project proposals. Evaluating impact of business decisions on Financial Statements, Working Capital, Capital Structure, and Capital Budgeting of the firm. Learn to solve numerical problems on Common Size & Comparative Statements, Trend Analysis, Ratio Analysis (Calculation of ratios plus its interpretation), Estimation of the working capital requirement,etc.

This core course targets one of the most important pillars of the business. The topic describes who the real asset for the company is. Explain the role of the Human Resource Function in an Organization. Demonstrate the use of different appraisal and training methods in an Organization. Analyze the compensation strategies of an organization. Evaluate the sample job descriptions and job specifications for contemporary entry-level roles in real-world organizations. Operations & Supply Chain Management:
This core course targets the basics of Production, Operations, Services, Supply Chain, and Quality Management. Understand the process characteristics & their linkages with process-product matrix in a real-world context and the various dimensions of production planning and control and their inter-linkages with forecasting. Apply inventory levels and order quantities and make use of various inventory classification methods. Analyzing a typical Supply Chain Model for a product/service and illustrate the linkages with Customer Issues, Logistics, and Business Issues in a real-world context.
Legal Aspects of Business:
This core course targets the key terms involved in each Act. Understand the key legal provisions of each Act. Apply the use of the Acts in common business situations. Analyse the various facets of basic case laws of each Act from a legal and managerial perspective.
BRM:
This core course targets the concepts of scientific business research. The course also aims to provide an understanding of the various types of measurement scales & attitude scaling techniques and their application in the context of business research. Design a variety of data collection instruments for contemporary business research issues and apply the principles of sampling and sample size determination to contemporary business research problems.
Desk Research:
Demonstrate the use of secondary – offline and online resources to profile a real world business organization. Analyse, using tables and charts, the trends in market standing & financial performance of a real world business organization over the last 5 years. Compose a brief summary of future plans of a real world business organization the company website, shareholders reports and other information available in the public domain. Identify the key challenges and opportunities for a real world business organization .
Field Project:
According to the NEP 2024 For Semester 2 the students needs to conduct a Field Project Based on which a Detailed report and presentation will be made by the students. The student needs to have Company Certificate of 160 Hours. The field project topic must be aligned with the specialization chosen in Semester II and must be based on Primary Data.

SCM (Supply Chain Management) Analytics using Power BI course focuses on utilizing Power BI's powerful data visualization and analysis capabilities to optimize and streamline supply chain operations. This course teaches participants how to gather, transform, and analyze data from various supply chain sources, such as inventory, procurement, logistics, and production.
