SC/ ST Committee

Objectives

Promote a healthy working environment for all our SC/ST staff, students and faculty.
To direct SC/ ST students for their personal and manage academic issues.
To implement the reservation policy for SCs/STs in our institute.
Promote the policies in respect of admissions, appointments to teaching and non-teaching positions in our institute.
To function as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the Grievances of SC/ST students and employees of the college and render them necessary help in solving their academic as well as administrative problems.
To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in our institute.
The Cell will deal with the cases / complaints of SCs/STs students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college
The Cell shall process all the individual complaints and take immediate suitable action
To circulate decisions taken by the Government of India belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in Colleges.
The Cell may form / review the guidelines / policy as required from time to time, which may be in accordance with those issued by Supreme Court and Government Agencies.
The Director will be the Chairman of the Cell and may appoint members of the cell (one member will be of SCs/STs).
